CardBoard is an online tool for collaborative project planning that offers a "workboard" setting for user story mapping. The SaaS-based software is hosted in the cloud, and the per user per month price plans start with free signup "for life" and an infinite number of public boards. Paid packages Essential, Professional, and Enterprise then include more sophisticated services, like real-time collaboration. Team members can then be quickly added to the project to share board views and collaborate on story maps that depict user experiences, processes, cognitive flows, narratives, or test paths. CardBoard, which it describes as being similar to a cross between Google Docs and Post-It Notes, uses drag and drop editing to organise "cards" within an endless browser-based workspace.
